| Guests at Cowboy Hideaway Ranch ride exclusively gaited Rocky Mountain Horses born and trained at Mountain Magic Ranch, the world's largest breeder of this rare horse. The basic characteristics of the Rocky Mountain Horse are a medium-sized horse of gentle temperament with an easy, ambling four-beat gait. These horses are a wonderful riding horse with a strong heart and natural endurance. They are sure footed on rough ground and, because of their gait, require a minimum of effort by both horse and rider so together they can cover a greater distance with less tiring. Mile upon mile of riding pleasure awaits you with one of these magnificent horses. |

is just a short jaunt from the quaint wine country village of Glen Ellen with it's fine restaurants, gourmet market, day spa and tasting rooms. A more ambitious hike will take you up to Benziger Winery and Jack London State Park. Artistic touches abound in this charming two bedroom plus an adjacent guest room and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.
